Admission Procedure
A) ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR FIRST YEAR B. PHARMACY:-
B) ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR DIRECT SECOND YEAR B. PHARMACY.:-
Admissions are done through Centralized Admission Procedure run by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai on the basis of Diploma Score. The centralized admissions are done by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance
Test Cell, Mumbai. If seats remain vacant after Centralised Admission Procedure, admissions are done by the Management at the Institute level.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
A) First Year Bachelor of Pharmacy:-
(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates:
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together ;
(iii) Should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by Competent Authority.
(2) All India Candidature Candidates:
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together ;
(iii) Should obtain non zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by Competent Authority. However preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET.
(3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National Candidature Candidates:
(i) The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology, and obtained at least 45 % marks in the above subjects taken together
(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
B) Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) Admission- for Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates:
(ii) Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
(iii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
(2) All India Candidature Candidates:
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the
Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together ;
(iii) Should obtain non zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET.
